Nickelodeon Magazine has been quite entertaining for my pre-teen daughter. My daughter is an honor roll student who loves to read for pleasure, so I assumed Nickelodeon Magazine would the perfect past time for her. This magazine highlights current TV shows, popular movies, famous stars and plenty more. The thing I like about Nickelodeon Magazine is the articles about “thank god for Hollywood Bloopers”, its fun to read and humors even myself. The magazine details celebrities’ birthdays and the happenings around town, my advice is for young and old to come together and have a good time reading this magazine together.

I have ordered a subscription to Nickelodeon magazine for my son every year for the past three years. As a "tween," it is hard for him to find magazines that he likes, and Nickelodeon has grown with him. The magazine has stories on all the current fads and celebrities especially cool to the middle school set. This magazine is great for kids from kindergarten to junior high--and their parents.

Nickelodeon magazine is a publication I can feel comfortable giving to my son. It has articles that interest him on a variety of subjects and also games and jokes. Anything that gets a child reading is a winner in my book. I also appreciate that I do not have to worry about the advertising in the magazine. Some ads in other publications are not appropriate for kids in middle school, but that is not an issue with Nickelodeon magazine. Lastly my son looks forward to getting something in the mail, in fact, I ordered Nick Jr. for my 4 year old so she can feel special too.

My ten year old daughter loves Nickelodeon magazine. It's hard, as a parent, to find magazines that are appropriate for her age and still interest her. Nickelodeon does an amazing job at both. There are plenty of fun things to do inside and she really likes the calendar that tells celebrity birthdays. I know Nickelodeon is a name I can trust so I am happy to be a subscriber.

Nickelodeon Magazine is a great, fun magazine for kids. I have an eleven year old boy who hates to read but he reads Nickelodeon from cover to cover. It may not be a classic, but reading is reading! I carpool kids to school and back and they all love to read it in the car. Highly recommend it!!

I have a boy, age 11, and a girl, age 9. They both love Nickelodeon magazine and devour it as soon as it arrives in the mail. They follow the little dog reporter, Zelda, throughout the magazine. Both will turn to the last page and make up their own dialogue for the "Say what". They also enjoy the comic pages and all the jokes. This is a great magazine that really encourages my children to read and think. I just wish there were more magazines like this for them.

This is the second year I have ordered Nickelodeon for my grandsons for Christmas. I decided to do magazines last year since it is a gift that gives all year. I also encourage my grandchildren to read, and they are more apt to do so when it is something they are interested in or enjoy. They all love Nickelodeon and especially love Sponge Bob. They keep me posted each month that they have received their magazine and are enjoying it. They seem to always find something to read or do in there, plus they seem to know what is coming up on their favorite shows and can catch up on things when they are busy with school work or functions that keep them from watching TV. So the magazine is a good accompaniment for the Nick stations and an excellent way to keep kids in the reading mode as well!!!

Despite ostensibly being a giant advertisement for Nickelodeon the kids network this magazine is chock full of humorous tid-bits, jokes, and short articles for kids of all ages. The real gem of this magazine is its comic section. Every month there is a comic section that has extremely talented artists in the field doing original work for children. Here are just a few of the esteemed artists they have published in the past: James Kolcholka, Tony Millionaire, Dave Cooper, and Brian Ralph, just to name a few. I highly recommend this magazine for any kid or any fan of underground comic art.
